A few weeks ago my right leg started feeling tingly and like it is partially "asleep" all of the time, even when not driving. The right leg is the one for the accelerator, of course, so is in a kind of cramped, awkward position all day long, day after day due to not being able to move the seat back far enough. Best diagnosis is temporary pinched nerve and gets worse from there. Just wondering if anyone else has this issue.

Take a walk every time you stop,.
I also get to a chiropractor when I can. PM your body as well as your truck.
    Good luck.

Use the cruise-control more. Keep changing your drive position every few minutes. Raise & lower the seat, change the steering wheel tilt/telescope. I made the mistake of tryingbto find the perfect/most comfortable position and then almost never moving anything but my arms. I even got a little arthritis in my neck because I was not moving my head often, just glancing at my mirrors with mostly eye movements. Be active with your body while you drive and keep focused on driving.

Adjust your diet if need be also.....too much starchy food plus the sedentary nature of trucking can impact your blood sugar, blood flow and the works

There's never been nor shall there ever be a "requirement" to stay behind the wheel for hours on end.
    It's dangerous and pointless.
YOU Decide when the Truck Starts and Stops (except for uncontrolled situations/events).
YOU decide how long YOU drive.
YOU are in control of the Equipment.

Cruise control not usually effective at reducing physical problems.
That's where, as said, Chiropractors and related Personnel step in.

    TAKE CARE OF YOU!!

    CHEERS!!

Make something to give you the option to change the position of your foot on the accelerator. A simple 2x4 or some other block of wood to put or heel on at a different level or angle can make a huge difference. I made this years ago. Just velcro’d to the carpet. I also made a foot rest peddle for my left foot at same height as clutch peddle so i can kick that foot up a bit and push myself back in the seat to stretch my lower back every now and then. 071C094D-03C5-4480-BCD7-B6323C02B576.jpeg

Not sure about anyone else but I wear a posture corrector and brace anytime I drive now. Really helps with avoiding making any “wrong movements” while driving. Before I did this I used to get lower back pain and would pinch a nerve once in a blue.

Ive had similar numbness/leg pain before, best thing i found to prevent it is to elevate 1 foot so your spine isnt completely straight and to walk it off when it does act up.

If you think it's vascular, I read pycnogenol helps with poor circulation.

Maybe compression socks would help. If you're legs are not getting good blood flow. I guess they help keep blood flowing. Another driver told me my legs looked a little like his did before he started having trouble. He had trouble with his legs and had to wear compression socks. He said is just from sitting all day and not moving. He said we need to walk more or get compression socks. Before legs get bad like his was at this point. He said number 15 compression socks. His legs were pretty bad and had like number 30 socks or something. He was just letting me know get the socks or walk more before legs get bad like his.
