The stainless skin is way overpriced buying through TK. The high output heater I have no clue about. I only know if it's that cold that I need the next heater up, then I'll run the truck since it's that freakin cold outside. -
Perkins, and as of this year anything under 115HP in Cat equipment is going to be a Kubota motor with a cat computer running.

The AC on a Rigmaster is real sine wave power, not square wave or modified sine wave like most inverters deliver, including the 1800 watt model from Tri-pac. I have a few things that absolutely will not work with most inverters.
We couldn't (my company of old) keep the Rigmasters running and Thermo-king had installed them before they started building their own and wouldn't support them after that. The parts were ridiculous, and these never saved enough fuel to pay to keep them up let alone pay for the upfront cost. -
Rigmaster is an all new company since late 20/9. They have tremendously improved their product line.
Ringmaster has best btu. My Tripac will not cool truck very well at 95 oitside, but old Rigmaster used to freeze me out. Tripac I have now is old and I have heard the newer ones are better.
The heater on this thing will cook you out of the truck. Be warned on that. Lol -
You know anybody that has a new Rigmaster? Why did you go with the Tri Pac this time around?
-
I have the tripack in a 700 KW. The heat gets trapped above the upper bunk and with all that condo cruiser above the windshield is a lot to cool down.As Shaggy says it isn't great over 95 but I have learned to run a fan up top for 10-15 minutes to get the hot air out then close my curtains then it gets right chilly in the bunk. I suppose window shades would help too
Oh and here at transam we run 2500 watt inverters I have tv fridge computer etc all on same time plus some lights -
2500 watt? They told me that the tri pac only comes with a 1800 watt inverter... You change yours?
