I feel ya o/p! I got the escort off the property and was made to leave oh a couple hundred in belongings on the truck and for an absolute guise of a reason. Couldn't wrap my brain around the treatment. I don't think it's me, but there are some seriously senseless people in this world. It was like they lost there nuts when then terminated me and became pitiful in my eyes which i can only assume they were in the first place. Two middles for them!

JCT is bs. They will lie and lie and lie. When you start they spend 5 days threatening you about how they will fire you if you do a list of things they don't like, for example taking time off when they want you to be driving. Then when you get to pick your truck, they rush the #### outta you so the other 25 people in your class can get out there. Chances are you'll end up with a piece of #### like the first truck I had (which you're forced to keep for a minimum of 3 months, unless you're part of their click in the office.) I spend 6 grand fixing this truck becouse I didn't put the electrical issues on the initial inspection sheet that you have 5 mins to go over. When they dispatch you they offer you one load. If you don't want it they'll tell you it's all they have (in a 1500 truck company wouldn't you have more than one load in and around Virginia in a period of 3 days?) also if you deny it enough then they "punish you" with short loads with a lot of drops.

They will send you into dry ice and chicken filled trailers without telling you there is dry ice in the trailer, it's not on the bills. Oh and the state of Oklahoma doesn't have a negligence law. They know all the loopholes. If you don't burn your time fixing other drivers #### ups by doing repowers they won't give u a new truck. All these fools do is lie. DO NOT GO TO JCT THERE IS A REASON THEY LOSE 70 DRIVERS A MONTH. If you ask them about it they will tell you it's heart attacks or broken legs-words straight outta the head of safety's mouth when asked about it. Danny christner will either sell the company or run it into the ground. Either way if you're gonna do a lp go somewhere else. Try loan mountain or twt anywhere but here. You will never own your truck here. I'm quitting in a couple days I can't take their lies and attitudes. Already cost me 10k outta my pocket. No more. Good luck guys.

In the event that your truck is down for any amount of time, they will offer you a rental.

The rental is 100% free. The only expenses you incur would be any fuel costs. If there is a maintenance issue with the rental, it's not on the driver.

You continue to make a for fixed costs payment (insurances, Q-comm, etc) acc your truck payment. As JCT is on a variable payment program, your truck payment is whatever miles you turn in. That payment goes 100% to your own truck. So if you're down 2 weeks, you can keep running in another truck and still pay down your original lease.

I did a rental about 7 years ago here. Some yahoo backed into my brand new truck while I was in a door at a customer. Crunched the sleeper. Truck was still drivable, just not pretty. I ran with it until my planned home time. Took 1 load straight home, took my 2 weeks off for my 2 daughters graduations (1 week apart) then took 1 load straight back to yard and got back into my own truck. Didn't lose any money, have any unplanned down time, and was able to keep my family's original vacation plans.

I tell most people not to do the rental if at all possible. Unless it's a MAJOR issue, you'll be down a couple, 3 days. Go to the motel, rent a car, unwind, whatever. It's s hassle moving in and out of a truck and it's something I would rather not do....again. I'm not hard up on money that I can't lose a few days or even a week of running and it affect me in a detrimental manner.

I'm one of the laziest drivers JCT has and I'm successful. Why? Because I manage my business.

They can not keep your property. You should have called the local police and had them come out. Its theft if they keep your personal stuff.

I bet every single driver out there that was fired, had their contract terminated, let go, asked/told to turn their truck in will say negative things about that company.
You're opinion matters not simply because you make a blanket statement without details as to the specifics for your leaving.
If you left on your own accord, I guarantee it was because you didn't know how to run a business......or even a truck.
