Stan was originally from my neck of the woods and lived on a small farm near Marathon NY.
He was a great guy and his help, input and expertise here will be greatly missed.
I think he was around our age and was way to young to go for sure?
Rest In Peace Stan it just won’t be the same here with out you buddy.mjd4277, Brettj3876, brian991219 and 9 others Thank this. -
Here's one of his trucks, a unique critter built to his unique specs.

So glad to see this outpouring of love for a fallen member ...most we don't hear about but Stan was one of those people that deserves it ....and gotta admit it wrecked my day !
I never once saw him get a tude with anybody here and he was a model member that will be sorely missed ...I didn't know him well but I do know he was proud as hell to be a Kansan.
Lots of members here I could say the same about!
I know I got windy but there are members here I know would come to my aid if needed .mjd4277, 88 Alpha, IH Truck Guy and 8 others Thank this. -
It always makes it that much harder when you start reading everyone’s stories or condolences for someone like Stan who had such a positive impact on everyone.
Surely gonna miss him… Regret not having the chance to cross paths with him in person, however always appreciated his wisdom and knowledge, especially to a young guy like myself.
“Wait, you’re Kansas Transit?” Haha. RIP Stan -
Rest In Peace. You will be missed.

Thank you @Tall Mike for the message….
Sure hate hearing this, RIP Gearjammer….. -
RIP Stan.
We never met although we had a few PM exchanges as he was just 30 min south of where I live.
I've seen his green single screws more than a few times on KS 24 and US 81, never seen the tan one though.
He was the only one I followed here on TTR not because he was close by but I was intrigued with his ingenuity.
When his obit comes out it will likely be in the Salina Journal and/or the Salina Post.
There's some pretty cool pics here on his Facebook page. -
bzinger Thanks this.
