Here's a question for y'all: What should Stan's title get changed to on here? Something that reflects he has passed and acknowledges the respect we have for him. He definitely deserves more than "Road Train Member."

@brian991219, you probably knew Stan better than any of us, any ideas?

I didn't know Stan well. Had some interaction on here with his posts. Seemed like one heck of a guy who was good at his craft.

Rip Stan and Prayers to your family.

Oh ####. I hang out on the hotshot forum mostly and was wondering why I haven't seen any recent posts from him. Came to the car hauler forum just now and its like a brick to the face. Didn't know Stan personally but he helped me out a lot over the last couple of years.
Always patient and thorough with his answers, really knew what he was talking about. Really liked and respected him. Always got excited seeing his orange stars on the road.

    RIP Stan :(

RIP Stan. I didn't realize he was originally from this area. That guy had a ton of creativity, loved his one off builds.

Can you share the story about the car in the lake.

mjd4277, Flint1 and Hulld Thank this.

I thought there was a thread on it, but I don't see it. My GoogleFu is usually pretty good, but not having any luck.

Guy roofed an SUV (I think it was a Land Rover,) and rather than deliver it damaged, took it a lake and drove it onto the thin ice.

So the next morning there's this fancy SUV sitting in the lake, but only about top of fender deep.
