Only if postage has been applied.

OOps.. rollover got here first, and is probably more correct than I am.

    /me calls up Google...

yup.. it seems that it's not "hands off" until it's in the custody of the USPS (this includes collection boxes and mail carriers)

That's right! it's NOT the USPS property until it hits a mail box or collection site. Sitting on a counter with a stamp just makes it an envelope ready to be mailed. The same in the truck. It doesn't matter if it's stamped it's not mail until the postal Service has THEIR hands on it!

They probably don't want your 32 years. You would expect higher wages. Not every company can afford it right now.

I myself had major issues with this company. I did or attemted that lease purchase deal at that company ( never do that again!! ).. Here's my story. The truck note that's deducted each week was suppose to have been sent off directly to the finance company. That's in the contract. It was ok the first couple of months.. Making a pretty good check. "buying" my own truck , ect ect.. Got along with everybody in the office .. Untill I recieved a letter from the finance company stating I owed over 2300 in late charges and 1 payment was delinquent or whatever .. After double checking my settlement sheets.. The truck note had been deducted, health insurance which I was buyin thru the
company was being deducted, child support was , I thought , good to go
.. Ok no biggie.. It's just a fluke..get it taken care of ..Untill I got a letter from the state stating I was behind on my child support almost three months and these people do not play. I was in serios trouble.. Then I recieved a notice that the health insurance was cancelled due to lack of payment..now keep in mind the money was deducted.. But never sent off.. And all I got was excuses..never thier fault . Needless to say I got everthing taken care of after I got out of there. Heck with that . I speak for several other drivers that use to work there.. One ended up in court for his child support and right now he has major issues with the IRS for some shady 1099.. The other driver had his bank account completely drained by the IRS for another faulty 1099. And the last time I spoke with another driver he had a traffic violation sent to his address for running a red light (traffic camera) .. In short the date on that ticket was a year after h got out of there. That truck is still in his name.. Very shady company.. If it's working out for some of you drivers.. Hey more power to ya!! But in my opinion .. Stay away!!

The issue that really had me tee'd off was the fact the child support for my little ones ..they where not recieving that money! They depend on that for whatever they need and for a company that pulls a stunt like that with no consideration says a lot about the charecter of the people running it..
Then to actually have people posting on here defending this joke of a buisness is pathetic. And I'm not speaking of the drivers that are working there. Maybe they are being treated right . I don't know . I'm just speaking from my own personal experience and my fellow drivers whom I still keep in contact with. And what happened to opeth I don't doubt him one bit! And by the way I haven't forgot. I am taking legal action against these people. And like I said I'm not reffering to -or-disrespecting any drivers employed there.. It's for the powers that be. They know who they are..

That is just flat out weird that taking child support out of a paycheck and pocketing it isn't a crime. It's not like they can hide it or that the government doesn't notice.

I explained the situation to the state and thier response was that regardless of the situation the parent is still responsible for backed payment. Now the state will go after the employer but that backed payment must be payed. Now they payed that money after the state went after them. They were robbing Peter to Pay Paul. I hope that clarified that somewhat
