IT's Brad it is Thursday just finished oriontation. I haft to wait for my truck to be ready to go $ 4ooo in repairs after they inspected it wow knew they would find some things they always do, but $4000 was not ready for that news . I hopefully will be rolling by Saturday, sure we will run into each other sometime soon . I like all the people I have met, and they all seem to be nice. It's nice hearing how a company operates like this ,I ran my own company for over ten years and had the same kind of values of tell it how it is respect ,and treat others as how you would like to be treated . They now have a real good lease to buy a truck in 2 years 400 aweek the 10 cent amile for repairs but at the end of the 2 yrs you own it and get back anymoney left in the escrow It's new I might get a driver in 1 so i can make alittle money but mostly get the truck in 2 years. Some of the trucks are even less then 2 yrs, 1 guy paying only 18 months he got a truck some 1 had been in for 4months and left they have over 600,000 miles, but you have 30 days to have them fix anything you find wrong. You pay about 38,000 not bad, might be worth checking out.

I just talked to the lady at Risinger, He're the low down. (I have read all the post in this thread, do bare with me if I'm reposting something someone has already posted.)
Bad things: They do their FSC on a .06 scale, instead of the .04 cent scale. Which sux.
Their FSC is at .17 cents per mile.
Most of their loads are heavy loads.
They don't go west of I35. So I would imagine, that most of their loads are east coast.
They make you use a qual-com.
They pay tolls if they match your log book.
You have to run legal.
Good.
Most loads are drop and hook.
No NYC.
Your preplanned usually before your empty. -
From BK2's post, it appears he runs mostly north to south, with an occasional detour to the midwest on the way. He is in Pa a lot, then down to Ga and Ala. Most everything I see is heavy, but he don't sit much. He seems to have a lot of drop and hooks. I've read here where he was planned two loads ahead. Best part, no crappy reefer and their maintenance, noise, 2 am appointments, grocery warehouses, lumpers, and everything else that sux about a reefer.
I have no idea how they would work for a straight O/O. It would depend upon what kind of fuel discounts are available, and what the net cost per gallon would end up being to you with all discounts and FSC, when you figure your fuel mileage pulling heavy over hills. You would also have to figure what they pay for that you normally would have to pay.
The o/o in this thread : http://www.thetruckersreport.com/tr...tor/64679-my-numbers-o-o-leased-crete-18.html
has a net fuel price of around 14 cpm all the time. That goes a long way as to what a person can afford to pull for. I have always said it's not what you make, it's what you get to keep. High fixed cost can make 2.50 per mile loads less profitiable than 1.10 per mile when there are deep discounts on needed items, and many fixed cost paid by the company.
I've been following this thread since the beginning, and he seems to be happy there, and gets the miles.
As far as the lease and 10 cpm maintenance charge on lease trucks, I would gladly pay that over worrying about going broke paying for the next breakdown on a truck I don't own. One engine and there goes a years worth of savings. As high as parts and labor is, and with the frequency of repairs on the newer trucks, that is the only way I would consider such an agreement as the lease. I believe he said he could get a loaner truck if the repairs were time consuming, but I could be wrong.
