Yeah, I've met one guy out of GA back in June, he wasn't happy camper either, but as far as I see it - Risinger started working on "Driver Appreciation Program" and really listens on what O/O has to say. They even did cookout at Romar in Chicago this year (too bad we could not make it) and talked/listened to drivers. They did the survey and got an input and did quite a few changes - that is a big plus! Considering most companies would not give two cents about their drivers. At least they want to hear and make changes. Of course they can't satisfy everyone but I think (and from talking to other drivers) for the most part they are keeping drivers happy. Dave Risinger drove himself and made his two sons to go on the road to see what it is to be an OTR driver, so I think they are on the right track. Plus for those who listens weekly conference calls should also know that U-LINE is their #1 customer and in the winter when most companies look for loads U-LINE has loads for Risinger, so if you want more miles in the winter (or any other time of the year) DON'T SCREW UP on U-LINE LOADS! And those who are not such happy campers with Risinger must communicate right away before a small issue becomes a huge problem.

I don't know the answer to that but I would guess the answer would be no. I doubt they would want to do that on a truck they don't know the maintenance history on and if it has been taken care of.

You don't haft to buy a truck from them , I think bigkid is on sometype of lease. He's not even planning on owning the truck atleast thats what he says earlier in this blog he might have changed that . They have a decent lease option throught a partner comp, KCM Best bet thou is to call as sayed earlier

Yes , I have my own truck and leased on with them recently. So far I'm not thrilled about the heavy loads we hall 44000 + pounds and the fuel discount is up for debate ,but they will keep you moving not sitting for most part.

I just dont know if I should put my trucks on with them, because they are 3-2003 volvos with 850000+miles, and will start having problems, and Ill have to start paying big money. My other trucks are with a different company but they cant be older them 7 years old, so I have to take the 3 volvos off. If I go with it, I'll have to find new drivers.

I am actually planning on changing that. What I am on now is leasing a truck directly from Risinger but I am looking for a truck and if I can't find anything then I am going to have them do some repairs on this one and switch it to where I own it after 18 months. Not too bad only a $1500 down payment and only $10 more a week than what I am paying now just renting it.
