I am kind of laughing because I posted the amount of my checks so far for every week on the JCT threað and several of their lease drivers have said my numbers I put up are BS. Well all that means is that they must not make anywhere near that amount if they think they are BS. So far since I have leased this truck I have averaged .48 per mile and that includes the week I was off almost the entire week. We do a lot of drop and hooks and I can back my numbers up.
Delivered in Wisconsin then reloaded and delivered in Ohio. Just loaded in Columbus,Oh going to Stevenson,Al for tomorrow then preplanned from Courtland,Al to Chicago for Thursday. Will be 2800 miles for the week so far once empty in Chicago Thursday morning with basically 3 days left in the week.

After I delivered in Chicago they tried givingh me several good Fedex loads that I just did not have the hours to run so they had me swap with a guy and take his load to Osaga,Ia for Friday. Then I did a few loads from Cedar Rapids to Chicago. Ended my week with 3800 miles which should give me a check of about 2300.00 which will be nice. Doing a 2 stop local load that finals out in Waukesha,Wi then pick up in Wisconsin tomorrow that delivers as soon as I get there in Breinigsville,Pa. Have hometime set for Friday and am going to take about 4 days off. Life is good!

BK2, I'm not able to find anywhere that these guys do a lease ops? If they do they stopped doing it and are "Completely" O/O? TD.
-
They are an all lease op and O/O company. My buddies mom works in the back haul logistics department and is trying to get me into there.
-
If you go to their webpage and click owner/operators it brings up a page that says all the info such as pay per mile and stop pay, layover pay and such the very last thing on the bottom says lease plans available. You would have to talk to a recruiter about it and Becky was my recruiter. They don't have a whole lot of trucks available to lease I know when I started I only had 2 trucks to choose from.

Picked up in Wisconsin heading to Breinigsville,Pa for this afternoon. After that I pick up in Carlisle going to Amsterdam,Ny and then pick up in Ticonderoga,Ny going to Crawfordsville,In and then home for 4 or 5 days. I can't wait to find out how big my check is for the 3800 miles last week going by my rough calculations it should be about 2300.00 which will be nice.

Well my settlement for last week was $9225.00 gross and I netted $4642.00. Me thinks that might be close to .50 cents per mile. We just recieved a .05 cents per mile raise
-
Ok but you run team which you failed to mention and I run solo and mine is more than .50 per mile it is .63 per mile. I figure my lease payment being about half of yours more than makes up for your 5 cent raise. Plus I pay about 30 something cents per gallon less than pump price which makes up for another 5 cents per mile where your company just keeps all that discount instead of passing it on to the person paying for the fuel.

Hey there BK2 got a few questions for you...
How intense is the DOT physical process, do they put you thru one of those fatigue management tests/sleep-study, skills/lifting test or is it just your run-of-the-mill physical?
I talked with a recruiter recently at Risinger & they told me there were some freightliners as well as volvos & that the freightliners were condos & volvos were mid-roof, what is the requirement to which one you get or is it just luck of the draw?
With all these states going nuts with the anti-idle laws are any of the trucks APU equipped?
Recruiting told me most lease/ops would possibly start in a rented Ryder truck & they had up to 6 months to get you into 1 of the fleet trucks as they had to have so many drivers coming on that they didnt have enough trucks to fill all requirements, so are the fleet trucks in pretty decent shape by the time you get into 1 or are they trashed & you gotta end up cleaning up someone elses pigpen?
When you do get into a fleet truck as a lease/op are they good about getting the minor things as well as the major things fixed on the trucks?
Reading over your posts on here & talking to recruiting I understand that after about 6 months with Risinger you have the option to put a down payment on the truck and assume a lease purchase option with a $1 buyout at the end of it all along with the 6 months of successfull operation being your credit, is there anyone taking advantage of this offer and are they content?
Lastly the recruiter told me that they match ALL Qualcomm records to paper logs, are they really active on this role or is this just a catch to say "we run legal"?
Thanks in advance for your time! -
No problem. O am averaging somewhere around 3400 miles a week since I started here. Been within an hour of hitting my 70 every day for the last 17 days.
