Before this goes to a pizzing match let me make my intent clear. I asked because I was curious if your numbers might be the same or possibly better than mine as I was considering Risinger as a possible business partner that could get me home more often without sacrificing financial income.

Concerning me being a liar about my numbers, they come directly from my accountant, and should we ever meet (trk 3205), I will be glad to prove you and your friend wrong. The reasons for your friends numbers not being as good as mine can be many, and for you to base your decision to call me a liar solely on one other persons inability to produce as I is....well, asinine.

    Alanp613 and roaddawg92 Thank this.

Do you factor how many days off per month? What happens when the engine needs an over-haul at 600K is it paid by you or the company? Does your annual Income from the truck generate 50K before taxes?

Your current numbers I totally have no problem seeing them as real. The numbers I question are the ones last year when the economy was bad. She did a lot of sitting for several days with no load and she stays out for about 2 months at a time. There was one time she sat in Pennsylvania for 5 days.

Most of our drivers are home every weekend but I stay out for about a month straight and then take 5-6 days off. If you live in Illinois or Indiana you can be home all the time and still get great miles. The main bad thing about here is that we mostly pull heavy loads.

I take about 5 or 6 days off per month and including that time I am still averaging almost .50 per mile. If I continue at the current pace financially I should clear about 65k per year since i am averaging about 1300 per week for all weeks including the ones where I am off.

I really don't care if people doubt me. I run up against my 70 every single day and get about 3500 miles a week when I am out the full week. Simple math would explain what my paycheck is. To be honest I hope people don't come to work here.

Hey Bigkid I do beleive your numbers. Like I said before one of my best freinds mothers works there in the IL corporate HQ down by Peoria. She said she can get me on there but I want to be a company driver first and learn the ropes of flatbedding and see what the economy looks like in a year and maybe get my own truck. She has told me time and time again that they have tons of loads and they get there drivers home or atleast try to every weekend for atleast a reset. She said that you guys over there do very good for yourselves and that company definitly takes care of the employees.

And for all of you thinking yeah right there lieing to him. This is one of my best friends mothers who has been like a mother to me and I have known for about 10 years! So I do believe BK2 and I can vouch and say it is not smoke being blown its real.

delivered the Fedex load in Chester,Va then loaded Lipton tea in Suffolk,Va that I delivered in Carlisle,Pa. Reloaded from same place in Carlisle going to Wilton,NY for as soon as I get there. Will get a load of paper out of Ticonderoga,Ny next but I don't know yet where it will be going. I talked to one of our guys the other day that got one from there to El Paso which would be nice.

My productivity during the slow down last year was way down till the mid part of April. Since that time I ran very hard to increase my numbers,so the year as a whole looked good.

During the first quarter of last year I had to spen some of my savings so I could have a paycheck to the house, but then, tht's why I have a company savings account.

Last year was not easy, but I serve a gracious God, Jesus, and He has never let me down.

The heavy loads aren't a bother, but I don't see a clear benefit to Risinger for me.

    I wish you much success!

    Alanp613 Thanks this.
