Because it was after a merge with another highway and more lanes were created on the right. I always go on the furthest right lane unless cars keep merging in from on ramps. But nevertheless there is no excuse to brake check a truck in my opinion.

The good news is that Swift's risk analysis points mean absolutely nothing when you look for another job. As of three years ago when I left the only report Swift normally made on former drivers was the standard DriverFacts report, which consisted of employment begin and end dates, drug tests and results, a list of accidents with dates and whether they were preventable and/or DOT reportable, and eligibility to rehire.
