I just quit RTI day before yesterday. They tell you that if they don't have the truck you want, that you get 10weeks payment free, but if they have the truck you want, you get a $2, 000 sign on bonus. Don't botherasking for a Kenworth, no one ever gives them up because they're good trucks! I was given a 2012 Peterbilt 587 and got "10 weeks free". Well, mydispatcher sent me a text message on Tuesday morning stating that I would be swapping trucks once I got back in Owensboro. They were going to put mein a 2015 ProStar which was fine because it had a cummins and not a max force! BUT, they wanted me to start making payments on the truck immediately! Ihad only been there a month and I still had 6 weeks left on my "10 free"! Just a week earlier I told Mike, who is the ops manager for Owensboro that I wasn't getting enough miles to make a decent paycheck(over $500.00) and I was given 2 loads back to back that were 733 miles each. Then it went right back to 112, 212 and 333 mile loads! 95% of their loads come from and go to Ragu which is literally right across the street from their terminal in Owensboro! Mike told mehimself they didn't have very much freight! I told Mike I couldn't afford to make their truck payment of$553.00 a week when I was only bringing home$500.00 a week!! My third check, was for $2, 663.00out of that check I only got $514.00! They deduct so much, you're pretty much paying to work for them! Inever signed a lease thank goodness, or I would havebeen screwed!! My suggestion, STAY AWAY FROMRTI!

Just got out of orientation today. Every question I asked over phone I got a truthful answer. Never did they promise 10 weeks free or 8 or 6. They only promise a 2000 dollar bonus no matter if they have the truck you want or not which mostly they want have the truck you want because the only good ones they have are the newer ones and the Petes and the broken in trucks that guys here have had for a while. Also they will tell you that all of the kw's are crap. they are phasing out all the older trucks now and keeping the 2015 and newer but as of now they still have a few 2013 2014 internationals with Cummins and I think Petes and some kw's the waiting lists are about average of 7 guys long so the wait isn't to long for your freights and internationals. Also about that 2000 dollars what they do is they average is out over 4 weeks so basically the first 4 weeks you have no truck payment that 2000 go's toward your truck. That's how that works. Pay is banded so out west and lower southern states is .90 cpm Midwest and tn is 94cpm and everywhere else including ky and northeast is 96cpm and you automaticlly start out with a .05cpm bonus so it's from 95cpm to 1.01 pm. Any questions please pm me. I will write more as I start to get to know more about how they run here

Trucker2121 i quit them about a month after i started. Now they do have a good lease but what they dont tell u is they only have 1 customer which is ragu and most of there loads are only 150 miles out every now and again you might get lucky and get a 500 mile load but the thing is everyl load i got after driving the 150 mile load i was waiting at least 20 to 30 hours before they would find another 150 or 250 mile load. Needless to say your gonna be owing them money. Do not go there. 1500 miles a week and they think there doing there job and getting you miles

oh wow. i guess a waste of time going to orientation if approved. so your bad experience there was basic low miles and lots of wait for new loads. so it was a walkaway lease. thanx for info

Ya it was walkway. And I wouldn't waste my time with them. But it is a shame because they do have a really good lease deal if they only had the miles it would be a good company.

i have a friend who is looking into them and trying to get me to come over there. if that is all they offer there is no point in even bothering with it
