Yeah I'm on variable. yes it's more a week but it works for me coz I want to pay the truck off ASAP and I don't go home a lot. Around $1250 take home on 3k miles after all expenses (as long as you know when to get fuel and how much fuel you need) I buy my own fuel, I don't use the company fuel card...and yes your payments and term length depend on how new your truck is...

Do you use NASTIC fuel card? What's the fuel surcharge now? They have any bonuses for lease drivers? The discounts must not be very good if you pay cash....? Or you use mom and pop stops with cheaper fuel.... they give you a breakdown of your settlements before payday?

If you want my honest opinion I say don't even think about a new truck...just get anything under 400k miles to get the bumper to bumper warranty, run variable, run your ### off and pay that truck off then do whatever you want after...

They use Comdata...I use a fuel card through Truckersolutions .10 off cash price at any pilot and FJ and I use my own Credit Card or cash when I find cheaper fuel at mom and pop...all depends where I am at the time (just have to make sure you turn in your receipts coz they do your IFTA for you) yes every week you will have a complete itemized settlememt

Okay point taken... a two year lease is a good way to go as long as you get a "lucky" truck that helps....
NASTIC is good for .09/.60 cents off of fuel and a few others offer a big discount check it out...
They have older trucks available most of the time or wait till someone turns one in.... ??
I wouldn't mind getting one of older TLI Volvos most of the bugs are already worked out...

Older trucks are always available...don't have to wait for them. I wouldn't worry too much about the truck coz you can get all that fixed with the warranty...if it's a big issue say something and they'll get you a different one...they don't mess around when it comes to that. When my truck was in the shop for the DEF pump they gave me a loaner truck to use the same day and I ran in that until my truck was out of the shop (my truck was done and sitting on the yard for a week coz I kept running and didn't want to come back until they had a load that took me right through KC) lol....I'll have to check out that NASTIC fuel Card...thanks!

Nah, they're steady all year round as long as you like to run...a lot of Amazon and Fedex.... .05 bonus on all miles as long as you're on time and they give you that up front..Fuel network is Pilot/FJ and Love's...that's why I buy my own fuel

I buy fuel at Pilot/FJ coz of that truckersolutions card I have .10 off cash price and getting 10 points per gallon right now but if I see cheaper fuel at the QT or mom and pop shops I'll go there...yeah I think the .05 is included on the website quote but I didn't go by that...I flagged down every RTI driver I saw at truckstops before I came over...I talked to 5 of them, each in different states and all of their answers to my questions were the same so I signed up...you live in Wichita? You can be home every week lol
