I think there is a truck stop about 15 mins from me i will check there for the laminated one. If not i will just get the paper version to start me off. I can always upgrade to the better one after i start making money. thanks

My trainer in 2008 bought me an Atlas. Guess what! Still got it. Wait and then buy a good one unless you dont mind just buying two. Can probably find them used too. Some things change dont get me wrong but you can use the same map book for years and years. I never had a GPS. Simply are not needed honestly

You can usually get them half price around June and July just before next year's start coming out. That's for the laminated ones too. Last one I bought was 19.95$

You can get a large-scale atlas For $20 from a driver at a truck-stop if you keep your CB on Channel 19 and listen 24 hours a day.

I buy a new paper one every year. the front is full of useful info that changes every year.
that and the $7.00 pocket truck stop guide and I'm good to go.

Don't buy one until you are told to or you get your own truck.
