Yrc out of your choices, but I'd add Fedex Freight and Old Dominion to the list. BUT, freight has been slow lately. If you have steady work Id wait spring and then apply to the ltl carriers. Not sure how Sysco runs. But LTL carriers are seniority based. That means no runs, no work. With the way things are going i wouldn't want to be the low man this winter.
Zoltan1a, Speedy356, Chinatown and 1 other person Thank this. -
Sysco is FOOD SERVICE. I have never done food service but talking to friends that have,...... You will not do it for long. Hard work unloading trailers then loading the food into the place you are delivering to. You can make really good money but you will not be treated well by management. If you lasted 1 1/2 years that would be long enough for LTL to open back up again at Old Dominion or SAIA.
tscottme Thanks this. -
Put JB Hunt and Martin on the back burner for now.
Lots of other choices to consider.
