Took the torgue arm with me to Webb's Truck parts, had to pickup other parts anyway. They have a shop right there to do things like that, charged me $25 labor to change the bushings. They also re arch leaf springs, and make U-bolts right there.

    Lepton1 Thanks this.

Wow... shocks are kind of pricey at $50-$60 a pop. Does anyone actually replace them only after they are worn out and need it?

Since I haul tanks, I just do it every year. I just consider it preventive maintenance.
I got laughed at by a good friend of mine for changing the oil every 15-20,000. Says it's way overkill. I should be waiting for 30,000 At least, again it's cheaper to do oil changes at 15,000, then wait to 30-40,000 and have premature wear.

Lepton1 and Bean Jr. Thank this.

Chris, We tried several options with you .We offered to both replace or rebuild your shocks for a minimal cost.
Our shocks have a full one year warranty you are 2 years over that.
Shocks as all components of a vehicle are wear products. You had these on your truck for over 3 years, how many miles was that?
We here at Road King Shocks strive to keep our truckers happy and on the road , please refer to all the positive testimonials on our website and Facebook pages. We will still be glad to help you ,please call us and lets see if we can help you .

Shocks wear out often so they're basically disposable. IMO, this calls for cheap OEM replacements. No way I could ever justify 2k for shocks! Especially when they wear out just as fast as the comparable products.

Seeing as how I can buy either Monroe or Gabriel for $56 each, I can replace them once a year for 5 years before I buy one Road King. I'll stick with the cheaper ones.
