Well interestingly enough, my 2 internet reviews some how quickly made it to Road King and the guy over there wasn't happy about it. My kind hearted nature felt for the guy, but the annoyances associated with his product outweighed my concern for his concerns. He claimed to have no idea that one of his customers was having problems. After getting angry with me on the phone and then listening to me tell him how inconvenienced I have been by his company, he apologized and overnighted the shocks to me and promised to cover the shipping that I had to pay to ship him the shocks. I am having them installed today for the 2nd time in 1 year so I guess we will see how it goes.

    rookietrucker Thanks this.

Im looking for shocks right now. I've tried the KONI shocks on my old COE and there the best. But I dont think I need them on my hood. I got to go back and research on here for my brand to use.

I paid less than $300 for my 8 by Monroe. I see no reason to buy the Roadking. ROI on the road king is more then 8-9 years. Sorry to say but, that's how people end up
Broke: spending more money that they should've on the product that could've been without or paid, in this case, x6-7 times more than they are worth.

I drove almost 100,000 miles with shot shocks. So, if you can drive longer until you'll find the good deal, you won't be sorry.
Call your dealer and ask how much the shocks are from them, get part numbers, call around and see if you can save. You can change the shocks your self. Trust me, it is easy. Try to do it by yourself, if you can, you'll save the bundle by DIY.

He didn't cover the shipping charges for me. They sent me $300 plus dollar shock that leaked in less than 2 weeks and I had to swallow the $60 to send it back to have them get it right.
