I think Fedex Freight road tests the road drivers in sets.

Same with UPS. I have my test on Monday, and am mentally preparing for it. I've never hooked or driven doubles before, but will have the tester with me and am planning on just taking my time.

    Any tips?

    Sure!

To qualify, you gotta prove you can,put a full set in the ditch on a clear, sunny day,on a straight, flat road! Bonus points for any added destruction and mayhem!

Lol. Oh Christ, this oughta go over REAL well.

I've been loading up on YouTube vids and am hitting the yard tmrw to practice my pre-trips and airbrake test. I at least want to be spot on with those.

Always crack the valves on the back one. This is very important to make sure you have air all the way through the system.

And make sure your pintle hook is locked. ;)

Copy that. Crack that service air valve in the back. Are the turning characteristics majorly different from pulling a 53' with a sleeper? I know that there's the 2 pivot points, so I didn't know if it makes turns a little tighter. Should I take a wideer approach heading into turns with the tractor? Or drive as I normally would with a '53?

Do your hookup methodically. The same sequential procedure each time. I always hookup safety chains first.

You look like a boob dragging unsecured safety chain on ground into the yard.
You look like a boob if you lose your wagon because your chain was not secured

No, both of them. At the very least, it made me feel better.

A set will turn corners that a 53’ can’t, but if you’re not used to that you won’t think so. Just drive normally, but steer gently. Watch that “crack the whip” effect.
