That’s why you make sure the heavy one is in the front. ;)

    That doesn’t work very well.

If your going to be driving doubles then thats what you should be tested in. I was driving b- double tankers and that's what i got tested in.

It’s hard, but I seen a Corn Flakes driver do it back in the day.
I couldn’t back doubles very well, but I could a transfer.

I remember those interstate and May wiggle wagons always closing the roads for the rest of us on ashland every winter.
Twice a week I went down the hill on the oregon side while working at Viking, without jakes, and running a detroit, seeing who could get more smoke going, me or the Corn flake trucks.

Trick was you let er go at the rest area.

coastietruckin' and AZ Pete Thank this.

Woo hoo!! I passed. Hooked up the doubles, took her on the course, and got back to the yard in one piece! I was a little shaky in the downshifting a couple times, bit that was from the rust of not having been in a rig for a while. It'll come back to me with practice. But overall, it went well, and the tester even gave props on my backing skills.

All my paperwork should be processed in the next couple weeks, and then I'll be ready to start. This is a great day! I want to thank all you guys for your words of wisdom and knowledge. It helped me to really gather an idea of what to expect today.
