Road Test tomorrow for Walmart

WM has decreased wages and such...that really makes me worry what the future is for them. Once you start chopping toes off, the foot is generally next.

I obviously know nothing of the situation, but speculating is fun.

 

Yes they did decrease wages. Then they raised them back when they figured out they screwed up.

Oh did they? That's really good to hear. I didn't know that.

 

We had grass roots and our new RTM made it clear they knew they had messed up.

Lot of good ideas. A lot of programs coming back. I'll wait until some of it becomes official, but they may have hourly guys in metro areas way less CP work, more taking care of grocery and our stores. Let the outside folks do the grunt work and keep us around our customers.

If what he pledged happens I think fleet will expand.

 

Hmm, I believe that was the original plan that Sam had in mind for the private fleet, and it worked very well until recently when self proclaimed supply chain specialists F'd it all up.

 

Rumor has it that during annual store meetings market managers were throwing a fit about new fleets.

 

they are building a class. they will have it all done for everyone. whats the status on the walmart site.
