Dude I am just curious how that would work. I mean what did they write you up for missing page?
-
That's why my cb is turned off . Cell phones and lots of friends I know what's up with out help from strangers. -
About 4 years ago, east bound Ohio poe on I74. Trooper counted the pages. I thought it was kinda pointless since nowhere in the book did it said how many pages were suppose to be there. Started on loose leaf the next day.

AAAAAAMEN. First thing I did when starting out on each time I left to hit the road was to unstaple about 5 or 6 books. never heard any grief about it from DOT, hell, they even complimented me for my organizational skills in a WV coop once!
Now I'm on e-logs. grrr. -
I have not owned a CB since 2002(I know, heresy around these parts.
No need to,my GPS tells me about traffic issues if I need to bypass traffic.
No need to try to bypass scales,no need to fear them
I get paid $100 for every clean report with no violations,so I actually hope to get pulled in as my tractor is getting PMed at the shop the week before while I'm in Hawaii shooting a calander(I do glamour photography on the side)..our trailers never leave the yard with defects as our yard guy inspects them every weekend.

So you rely on the abilities of someone ELSE inspecting your equipment to be functional, not yourself.....
Classic.x#1 Thanks this. -
Oh hell no,I give it a thorough check through myself before I pull out of the yard.
#### can happen over the weekend(ie,a tire goes flat because it gets a puncture on the road that doesn't cause issues till later, ect)
What I was saying is that I have had very east walk arounds and such because our equipment is well maintained,I have yet to have the slack adjusters be out of whack because of this, unlike a few places I worked previously(along with marker lights missing, wires hanging on the ground, ect) -
Then we'll have all the wrecks the next few days while the Dieselbears sleep it off and all the "hard runners" try to make up for lost time.

i.e. someone whose great granddaddy kicked your great-granddaddy's ###.Cyberstorm Thanks this.
