To be completely honest with you, I for the life of me have no idea what someone who uses ANY RoadPro appliances successfully for more than a month or two does to keep these piece of #### devices running, because I've had about 4 different type of RoadPro appliances and I have never been able to get any of them to stay working long-term. I have NEVER, EVER seen any product made with such poor-quality parts and materials as RoadPro/Burton products are made with, and it's my belief that RoadPro DELIBERATELY makes their products with crap parts EXACTLY FOR THAT REASON-to get you to keep buying new ones every 30-45 days. Their little skillet stops working about every couple days or so now, and I REFUSE to go out every 2 months and shell out YET ANOTHER $25 or $30 for a new one every time the old one goes south. When the one I have stops working, I just take it apart, figure out why it's not working anymore (usually a broken wire, which requires a new female spade connector every time but better to spend $3.00 every few months for a new package of those than $25-$30 even more often than that for a new appliance entirely), fix it and put it back together again until the next time it breaks down. It's either that or my wife and I are shelling out $700 a month that we really cannot afford on truck stop food, so it's definitely one of those "rock and a hard place" type situations. My actual advice to everyone out there is very simple: STAY THE #### AWAY FROM ROADPRO'S GARBAGE PRODUCTS!!!!!

Have a coleman cooler, it doesn't work very well in the heat of summer..keeps drink on the cool side but thats it..
looking for something better myself -
I have two of their products. First is the electric lunchbox- very happy with it- it works just fine, always has. Second is that little refrigerator. Completely different story with that hunk of crap....
