I’ve been hearing some stuff lately from new I/C’s at Roadrunner Freight LTL I’ve talked to. They have been promised 1.60pm. Before signing on the line, ask for rate sheet and terminal location closest to you, see if what you’ve been told is correct. Remember their popular lanes pay the most, first in=first out. You might sit. If roadrunner struggles to give you a rate sheet, question everything they tell you. Ask what deductions they take out on top of your lease payment, and what your lease payment includes, maintenance program includes what and so on. Then there is insurance, fuel tax, trailer pool expenses. Ask for the Fuelbook code and see our discount. Do your diligence please, it will save you from misconceptions later.

Yeah they told me avg 2$ a mile on some lanes.I dont see 2$ a mile coming out of any terminal.
Ps WV has 2$ but most aren't paying anywhere near that.

I was told I could take home $1800 to $2500 after deductions. After six weeks, I’m running 2800 to 3500 miles per week and not getting a settlement every week because of roll overs on Monday deliveries. So after first two weeks, I got a settlement of $1854, two weeks later $2360, two weeks later my last settlement was $2235. I’m sure you can have a really good week here and there and make $1800 but you’re not going to do it on a regular basis. I’ve been very disappointed and am kicking myself in the ### for coming here. Ive been giving the lease company $980 per week total to drive a new KW. Im sure they will want money after I turn it back in. This may have been the worst move I’ve made after 20 years in the trucking industry. I can imagine if I actually went home for a two or three days a month. Hell I wouldn’t ever make a settlement.

Put in app for L/P with roadrunner Saturday, guy named Matt called this morning and spent about 30 minutes talking, by the time I hung up I had Rate Sheet, and deduction summary in my email.

That said, is there any recent news on them?
