    Terrence90,
So how is the LTL side going? You still liking it? It sounds like a pretty good deal they have going on over there. Do you take home more than 1000 a week since switching? I'm really sick of driving a company truck and want something ungoverned. I'm so sick of it taking me 5 miles to pass another truck and vice verse. I'd really like to pick my own loads as well.

I'm loving it. I do take home more than 1000 all depend on the loads I pick also. Far as ltl I'm start back on sept 1 that way I can I call in at terminal and have the trailer pre loaded. I do mainly broker loads

So on the ltl side you can do broker loads too? I don't really understand how it all works there. I had seen someone mention they have their own loads or you can get broker loads. I didn't know that on the ltl side you could do broker loads. Maybe I'm just confusing the job because I'm in ltl now with YRC. I'm getting that it doesn't work the same way.

I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but the way I understand it is when they say LTL they mean a bunch of small shipment on one trailer going from one DC to another. I guess it would be more linehaul than LTL.

As far as broker loads, they can either run company freight from DC to DC or they have a list of preferred brokers they can work from. They have to haul so many company loads per month I believe though

Yes ltl side broker they loads. You can use any broker that rr approve of. You pick your loads if it broker or Termial to Termial

Yes you right ltl is a lot of freight coming from that city heading to another Termial to get delivered in that city. We have to do like 3 or 4 Termial load per month

Thanks Terrence90, I was getting ltl mixed up with linehaul. So do you mostly run DC to DC or do you do mostly deliveries?
