That's pretty good. I'll be out of Fontana or somewhere out that way if I go to work there. I'm assuming that's where their yard is since most trucking companies are out that way.

Jumping in here. I have been checking out different options with different companies and mostly at the Lease Programs. So tell me if I am right or wrong please....

When you hire on to RR you get to choose a truck from an approved Dealership that you want to L/P and you pretty much just Sign and go? I forgot who said it without looking back, percentage pay is 80% of the load? But there was also a CPM option right? The concept and way RR is doing things seems really new to me especially being able to choose choose broker loads...

and considering your truck is coming from a dealership do you get dealership truck payments? What I mean is $1100 to $1800 (estimated) per month? Can someone tell us your truck payment?

Anyway, A recruiter is suppose to call me and I will see what happens. Anyone know if they hire out of California?

    Thanks Drivers!

I have recently applied with RR and have been approved but have not been to the orientation yet. Go Tuesday in ATL. Own my truck, no payments but it is a beater. 1.4 million but motor is fresh with all new rubber no recaps. Home time is very important to me now, much more than making payments on a shiny truck.
I intend to run out of the Charlotte NC terminal on Monday and wanting to be back there with a decent pay day (1500 - 2000 in pocket, after ALL deductions) by Friday. Wanting to stay in the southeast area. Really hoping to run T2T, Charlotte - Atlanta - Dallas and flip back. Is this possible with RR?? Is there regular freight between these terminals without excessive wait times? Is the safety department strict regarding logs?

So RR doesn't have an age requirement on tractors?

I guess not, mine is a 2000 freightliner. Shes old but cranks right up every time roaring to go. Wish my wife was that way!
