I finally got everything sorted out on the truck ELD side but, it’s no longer connected to my office computer. I’m supposed to reconfigure it because it got booted from my fleet of 1 trucks, lol.
I guess Fleet Complete figures every truck company has a secretary in the office to deal with it. Unfortunately I deal with everything and only get home every month or two.
I’m not going to relearn the new system. Just going to shut it down and try something else. My ifta mileage reports were always missing thousands of miles every quarter so I’m done with it..purely garbage.
I’m going to look into the Omnitracs and see what the deal is. I’ve only used them as a driver and really liked it. From what I’ve heard they are a little pricey but I really don’t care at the point. Only thing I heard is that Omnitracs is somewhat of a pain in regards to the back office side.
Going to be home tomorrow afternoon and sort everything out..with a beer or 12
ducnut Thanks this. -
can i recommend blue ink tech? its what i use.. its free to use if you dont want the ifta recording and just the elog.. have to buy their connector that hooks into your obd port $200... ifta tracking is like 20 bucks a month.. but i just record mileage by hand and do it that way.

I’ll check it out when I get home.
Big Road, Keep Trucking and JJ Keller are ones that I’ll never use again…Even if I ever go back to being a company driver. -
my only complaint with blue ink tech . is if you decide to use the ifta tracking - then you really have to keep the tablet on cell service or wifi at all times . otherwise it will have thousands of miles missing every quarter because the app needs to be updated every so often... although their customer service department handles it quick. but that why i just chose to record mileage by hand and spend no money on it.

We’re moving over to Samsara, in a couple weeks. From what the office tell me, the headaches on the backend are far worse than what we drivers see on the frontend. Haha. My fingers are cautiously crossed.
