I have to run at night, more often than not, and Floyd doesn't put me to sleep, but it takes all kinds. I never did drugs, so nothing to remember. David Bowie and David Gilmour(Bowie was guest artist along with some of Crosby, Stills, and Nash at a concert at Prince Albert Hall did 'Comfortably Numb' in concert. I never get tired of Gilmour's music.

AM has gotten flaky, I used to listen to Coast to Coast, or Red Eye Radio. Now it's rare to hear any AM for long when I'm on a run. I'm hearing more offbeat non hit numbers on classic rock stations than I used to, and some venues play rare music that also sometimes makes its way to the airwaves.

Actually scratch that. That Simon and Garfunkle song that Disturbed recently covered. I start nodding off within the first minute I hear it.

I had David Allan Coe's Longhaired Redneck album on repeat for at least a week when I got stuck driving nights and couldn't get it turned around haha
Something about that music also turns me into a chain smoker

Even for the variety that satellite radio offers it sure seems like they recycle the same playlists over and over. I keep a couple flash drives handy with different stuff on them...lately my favorite is Whitey Morgan and the 78s, Sturgill Simpson, Eleven Hundred Springs, JP Harris and the Tough Choices, Chris Stapleton to name a few. I think most anything pushed by free terrestrial radio is a snoozer for sure.

Yes they repeat their playlists. Last Sunday, my wife and I were headed into town with 80's on 8 on the speakers. It was about 5:30 pm. At 5;30 am, I was on my way home from my route, and the same songs were repeating in order. Sirius xm's Road Trip channel is pretty good-nothing that puts me into a stupor and causes me to drive past delivery points.

Yeah, a song whose lyrics start out with "Sitting on a park bench" leads to a snooze fest.

Anything by STAIND that's not on their 1st album. After that, Aaron Lewis turned into a bit of a whiner.
