    Thank's goblue and goldenearring.

I'm staying at the Admiral Hotel in Grand Prairie/Arlington, looks like a classy place from the website. Can't find any good info of what's around it. It's around 180 miles from the house as opposed to 950 so I get to spend another day at the house.

I just got back from Marshfield WI where I was scheduled to start orientation on June 17th. Unfortunately, I didn't pass the pre-work screen. :(

At 5'2", 100 lbs, the 30 lb bag over my head was a bit too heavy. I rested it on my chest half way up to get a 2nd grip and push it up from there. I didn't realize that was not allowed.

Also, the 100lb pull and 80lb push bar was hard. I almost made it, but not quite. Not allowed to 'walk' into it, or no swing. If only I had 10 to 15 more lbs on me, I could have done it.

I found them to be top notch co. and very professional. They told me I could try again after 6 months. I'll have to do some heavy duty upper body muscle building exercises and try to gain some weight, always an issue w/ me. They paid for my rental car, gas, tolls, hotel room for my way over, but I had to find my way home. I ended up paying for a rental car, and was able to get it at the "Roehl' discounted price. The 'boss' called the rental co. and asked them to extend their discount for me. How nice!

For those of you heading out to Marshfield, don't forget your bathing suit. The hotel has a pool and a hot tub.

I was going to try out at Schneider, but they use the same rules for pre-work screen. I can lift the darn bag, just need to do an 'in between' on my chest. So, it looks like I'll be going to Swift; No pre-work screen. I'll take the experience and work out in the truck when I can. The pay is substantially less, MUCH less, but at least I'll be gaining experience and can move on after 6 months to a year.

I got my CDL on May 1st, so not much time left before I hit that '90 day' mark.

Goodluck to all of you at Marshfield!

    Louise
