I've never understood that, I had a guy that they made volunteer at an adults special needs home. They always wondered why he was in a bad mood when we called him to see how things were going. Hmm, let's see I can't drive so you make me volunteer at a place that i hate until I can get a release to come back to work. How would you feel?

Alhena is right up 23 on the eastern side of Michigan. Lake Huron I believe. My load was scheduled for the next morning. I went in used the facilities and bought some items and they were like hey can we unload you now? I said no. Lol not really said yes and then let fm know it was going on. Didn't help much with huge wait at the next shipper.

I have decided to throw in with Roehl transport out of Wisconsin. The program they offer a new driver looks good to me and their reputation is also good.
I have been reading the forum for about 4 months. I was researching the the web for info on trucking opportunities, I found the forum to be very helpful in bringing a true perspective to what recruiters and companies would say about themselves.
I took my time and thanks to a lot of help and advice from a bunch of different sources.
There were not many posts regarding Roehl in the forum, but enough so that I could confirm my feeling that it is a good company.
I am looking forward to participating in the forum from now on and hope to get further advice and insight on my new chosen career. -
Well today I am back at it. Sitting outside ricnmond va deliver in a couple hours. Hoping to run my wheels off, but still have to get to a terminal for AC issues.

Hey all. Got my load delivered to nabisco/kraft there in richmond. Cruised down to the pilot south of richmond on 95. Had to send in my payroll paperwork before the cut off. Made it with an hour to spare. Ended up spending 5 or so hours sitting there waiting for a load. Oncd I got one it was out of the same place I had left in the morning. Run up pick it up and head south. Its only 700 miles delivers Monday morning in Montgomery. Get instructions to head to head thru ellenwood to get AC worked on again. Get in there Saturday round 1400 talk to workers they can get it in on Sunday. So I call to let dispatch know what the plan is. I am then told "here take a loaner and keep rolling." Basically. He tells me this is the way it works I say I'm not leaving my belongings and really have never had this before. He says move my gear in and keep rolling. That was saturday I said no. Cuz I'm not moving my gear in 90 degree weather. So I went to the hotel since I had no AC. Got back this morning had breakfast and as soon as I returned was handed the keys from my truck. PM done exhaust replaced two new steers and AC issue located. Seems there's a broken line. Hmmm how'd they know. I will tell you because they CHECKED IT!!!! Lol. So they can't fix it but filled me with freon or whatever. So I'm cool but need the parts this week. Just glad I didn't try to movd trucks. Sometimes people simply make me crazy! Dispatch acted like I was on a hot load or something. Lol. Oh well run my but off and going home the 2nd.
Drive safe!!!Laner99 Thanks this. -
