Well my friends, I figure I will announce this tonight here, since its close anyway. Tomorrow morning I will be giving my notice. I know, I know, Ive done this before. You might even find my last notice in the old thread. :)

If they allow me I will work out the next 10 days or so. I wouldn't be leaving again quite so soon, but a good opportunity has presented itself and I have been offered the job and accepted.

I never burn bridges behind me, but I hope I never find the need to return to over the road life. I have a bunch of young kids at home who are very happy they will now have the opportunity to see their father everyday.

I will of course stop in to check in, though it wont be as interesting since Ill only be checking in from home. :)

I have enjoyed my time at Roehl overall, and everyone I have worked with has always been good to me. I will always maintain Roehl is a good place to get your start.

That being said with all the goofy changes coming to the industry it will be nice to work 5 days a week and be on paper logs (for now). ;)

That's all I've got for now.

    Joe

You must keep in touch sir! Congrats and good luck.

Im at the loves i95 x 4 in skippers VA. Flat tire when I picked up my pre load slowed me down. 2nd one in 3 days. The lack of swept properly dropped trailers in good mechanical condition is really starting to piss me off.

Mainly the fact that people don't know how to properly drop trailers.

Ehh. I will be off to myrtle beach in the am. Cons is walking distance to beach. May take a walk.

You should just sign up for 7on 7off. Then you can quit and come back every week. Good luck though. I miss OTR sometimes but coming on here is enough to regain my senses.

At the consignee a implement dealer in the boondocks of nw Minnesota. Got here at 11 pm and parked in the lot of this place its nice and lonely and quiet and dark. Supposedly after i get unloaded and my 10 hour break is up ill be headed to get hay.

Good luck Treefork, if i had a local job opertunity i would take it. My kids hate the fact I'am gone so much.
