Well my friends, I figure I will announce this tonight here, since its close anyway. Tomorrow morning I will be giving my notice. I know, I know, Ive done this before. You might even find my last notice in the old thread.
If they allow me I will work out the next 10 days or so. I wouldn't be leaving again quite so soon, but a good opportunity has presented itself and I have been offered the job and accepted.
I never burn bridges behind me, but I hope I never find the need to return to over the road life. I have a bunch of young kids at home who are very happy they will now have the opportunity to see their father everyday.
I will of course stop in to check in, though it wont be as interesting since Ill only be checking in from home.
I have enjoyed my time at Roehl overall, and everyone I have worked with has always been good to me. I will always maintain Roehl is a good place to get your start.
That being said with all the goofy changes coming to the industry it will be nice to work 5 days a week and be on paper logs (for now).
That's all I've got for now.
JoeProjektf350, The OSU, Ultra7 and 11 others Thank this. -
You must keep in touch sir! Congrats and good luck.
Im at the loves i95 x 4 in skippers VA. Flat tire when I picked up my pre load slowed me down. 2nd one in 3 days. The lack of swept properly dropped trailers in good mechanical condition is really starting to piss me off.
Mainly the fact that people don't know how to properly drop trailers.
Ehh. I will be off to myrtle beach in the am. Cons is walking distance to beach. May take a walk.Treefork Thanks this. -
