I believe that to be a bs wives tale. How do they know how much snow will be packed at any given time? And what fool would be driving on top of a foot of packed snow in NY. They would shut the city/state down if that happened.Projektf350 Thanks this.
-
Foot of packed snow hell yeah I would drive on it.
-
Nope, if its packed hard enough to hold a truck, and its a foot thick, essentially at that point it's ice. I'm ok with powdery snow, not ice.

Rest area I-24 Kentucky. Headed to St Louis for tomorrow. 5.5 hours left on my 70, so it's going to be awfully close.
-
I've seen that before. Got snowed in at Albuquerque, NM. They don't bother clearing snow there, so the 14 inches they got ended up getting packed. Drove in ice pack from Albuquerque to Tucumcari, that sucked a lot. Technically the road was still closed, but they weren't actively stopping anyone at that point.

Sitting at ellenwood waiting to pee. Lol

At the mother ship dunno for how long. Rescued a trailer from la crosse to bring back to marshfield.
-
Oak Creek and hopefully stealth in and out of Chicago early morning.

What are Roehl's regional areas? Any dedicated? Thank you
