Roehl Driver Check In Continued

you have to be within 50 miles of cons more than 24 hrs prior to appt. I think its $60 for a day but dealt out in 12hr increments of $30. so if you are between 24-36hrs you would get $30, 36-48 $60. the time used on the back end is the actual appointment time. I don't think it matters if you are driving in that period, big thing is that you are within the 50mile radius for the entire time. lol pretrip for instance is on duty.

 

This is pretty much what the DRG says. I'm just puzzled by what some of the people manning the phones/computers think...

Meh Gary is not safe to park at. I got backed into, they were blindside backing for some reason i dunno why. Smacked my passenger side front and cracked the hood of my truck.

Yep i was in my sleeper ready for bed. Had to get dressed before going out to see how bad it was. So tommorrow i get to talk to my FM to make sure the other driver did everything he was suppose to. Maintence here knowes about it. Told him to report it, told me to call in the morning to make sure he did.

 

Yea you can't claim detention if the time is used as a break. They got me on that one once when I got tangled up at GP for 9 hrs. I sat the additional hour so I would have a fresh book and could deliver on time. How did they thank me? Screwed me out of my detention time claiming I used it as my break so they don't have to pay.

 

Question. Why is Maverick Refrigerated hauling cheese out of Wisconsin to the west and Roehl isn't??

Yeah, but!! Founded and based in Wisconsin. Two major commodities come out of there, dairy products and beer, of course lumber to. They must of really low balled that bid to get it.
