Maybe your FM got bumped? You're probably going a bit nuts by now. Hope things stay good here on out for ya.

 

Got in touch with FM he said he was informed in good to go now just gotta find me a truck.
Hour later OPs calls to tell me they are sending a driver in the next few days to recover my truck if I can meet them with keys. LMAO why not just keep my truck?? Ohh yeah let's just do that.

 

lol they wait till you are good to go to have someone recover the truck. thats funny right there... should've asked them if they wanted you to catch a ride with this driver to a new truck. probably would've had you go recover another truck or something.

 

Then I was told I would get a call 'FOR SURE' before end of day with plan for launch..... NO CALL! I'm on a dedicated route (only 1 shipper and 1 cons) so I don't know why he didn't just say launch tomorrow since I don't really go of planned loads. I just get to Shipper and see what they have ready then let FM know what loads ready. Everything seems odd.

 

That does seem odd, I'd say they were firing you but if they called off the recovery guy then it's not that. So either your FM hates you, or freight is really slow, or most likely your FM is incompetent and didn't communicate with the planner. Well assuming they work with a planner and if not they just hate you.

 

I know they hate me cause unlike 99% of the other drives I don't give in to them. I say whats on my mind all the time. If they were going to fire me I would of figured they wouldn't of paid for me to go get a new physical Monday though. If they do that's fine...I can actually drive so I won't have another problem getting another job, I already have offers on the table but I like my dedicated route being home every night at weekends.

 

Meh I have been stuck in Wisconsin all week now iam taking a load to gary to relay. Been crazy busy just been in and out of Wisconsin everyday.

 

They must still be oversold on the Wis and Ill markets. I can't seem to get out of the area either. Getting a run to Tenn for Friday though finally.

 

Waiting to get unloaded in Sheboygan, then will spend the night in Neenah. Have a slight air leak I need addressed. Then picking up in Menasha for Jackson, Tenn.
