I was told just last week that every time you check your messages you have to go on duty and every time you go in to check on the load. So they shouldn't have any issue with going on duty.

technically u would have to go on duty 15 mins for customer checkout.....AS IT HAPPENS RIGHT...?

I also understand the tiger poke too...from a drivers perspective I would rather just get loaded reasonably and drive. some customers just can't do it. others don't care..and others kick butt and get us in and out quick.

I don't think I got lucky. There was no choice. They took my mt, and didn't have preload ready for me. Couldn't go anywhere. It's only right. I'm supposed to stay on duty for 36 hrs straight? It was different thing than layover because of situation. It was GP in Palatka.

Yep, sleeper to drive. That's how I did it on paper. Checked in, yes.

with elogs nothing has to be an specific amount of time, just as long as it takes you to perform the activity.

Actually that is the truth, so if it takes you 4 minutes to check in with a customer you log 4 minutes, no need to log 15. If it takes you 11 minutes to fuel log 11 minutes. If it takes you 3 hours to tarp your load, you might want to think about switching to vans or refer.

And for the second part that I didn't bother reading either time, once you're done with whatever status you're on I'd suggest just start driving and let the ACDS catch you up, unless you're coming off of a qualifying break (8 or 10).

    Bayle and Projektf350 Thank this.
