Overnight at the St. Paul yard for launch tomorrow, then a couple local drops before heading out to Dickinson, ND with a curtainside load.

I'm thinking about returning my Rand McNally 720 and getting a Garmin. The Rand unit requires an $89 add on for traffic alerts and an annual fee. The Garmin is included. I also think the Garmin is easier to use.

How similar is the DEZL in intuitive usability compared to the 465? I used to have a 465 and found it very easy to use. For instance, one feature that I really liked was with a quick horizontal swipe across the screen I could see my entire route. Does the DEZL still do that?

dezl is really nice..a lot like the 465 in many ways but tons more accurate and has lane assist. when I get home to a PC I will do a review. I'm running my 465 next to it but as speed time and compass only.

Pontoon Beach, no PC today as backlight went out when I started this morning. Paper logs, no email messages, have to call to get any assignment and to let them know delivery/pickup. Naturally no one answers. They are not set up for this. Probably routed to terminal to replace tomorrow if they EVER answer the phone!
Also was 1/2 me behind a car that hit a deer on a two lane road. She was hitting her brakes and then swerved into the oncoming lane and got T-boned by a pregnant girl in a SUV then spun into the ditch just missing a light pole. Both taken by ambulance but will be ok. Nothing life threatening. Both vehicles totaled and it was three hours to clean up. This was only a mile from the shipper...

Ran all the way out to NY state last week and then back to Cleveland and then through Detroit for my home time run. Fun fun.
