Had a 0500 appt tomorrow morning, but they took me today and just got me unloaded. Not expecting anything any more today, so guess I'll just chill and watch football!

Parked for the night at a little TS in Buckatunna, MS. Low 60s here and overcast, but nice otherwise. Deliver tomorrow in Chunchula, AL, then on to Tampa.

Relayed and nabbed another load for NC. Delivers day I'm supposed to be home going to try to get rid of it tomorrow. Usually paper roll places are cool with it, hopefully these peeps are. Would've liked to hit Gary to meet some people but 70 hr said no, I was like 30 min short of making it.

I have a 12 and when I got it with 300k on it. I believe it was part of the first group of new trucks that came in 2011. Ozark only buys Condos. I guess to promote their rider policy, which is actually pretty good. So I can see your point on the storage thing. I think I had more room in my 07. Other than that the Driver comfort was a serious upgrade. I still have an APU so that is a big plus for me. We should have the same engine, the DD15. I don't struggle on little hills. I will struggle on the big hills when I am heavy but since I am set at 65 I don't loose momentum as fast as I used to. In the end Drivers have their preference. You like International and I like Freightliner.

I have never gotten to drive one of the new freightliners i would love to drive one to form a opinion. I have heard from some drivers they are better others say they suck.

On the other hand i dont want to change trucks cause i would have to have them move my inverter to another truck, which would mean more money out of my pocket.

Now I would like to know why that Driver I passed going south on 65 this morning was driving Prime's speed and helping Roehl make money instead of lining their pockets.

Cause now the your choice pay plan has a fuel mileage modifer. My Fm was telling me about it and iam like whatever i will still run my foot flat to the floor.

Or he was in no hurry to get to his destination.

Thats right. You can't maximize your hrs if you are going that slow. There were times I would go 61. I like how Ozark does their MPG numbers. They download the numbers every week, usually early Sunday morning, from the qualcomm. My new cruising speed is 63 but I can set it at 65 so I use it quite a bit. There are times I have no choice but to run 65, like for those good old FED EX loads.

Gas City IN. Since they set the cruise at 63 during last PM I use it more since the predictive cruise increases to 65-66 before hills and the DD15 climbs better at that speed, roughly 1400 rpm. Foot on floor is 63 as well but no boost before the hills. Getting same 8.2 mpg as before. Radar still sucks...
