Roehl Driver Check In Continued

I always did a wide swoop around the yard on my way in to see what kind of issues I was going to be running into first thing in the morning. Some guys were just trouble no matter what was happening.

 

That's what I do. I don't trust what they'll put on my scorecard, so I keep track myself also.

 

Petro I-40 x 188 Nashville. First leg of 2000 mile journey done. Love getting up early and shutting down late afternoon. Never have to worry about parking, and can get my run in.

 

Downstairs bathrooms now open at Gary. Still no showers or laundry.

 

Was it Butch, perhaps? Kind of a Bruce Willis knock off. He doesn't work there any more, but I thought he was a pretty decent fellow.

 

Back at home.

Went up to my cottage in northern WI to blow out the water and clean out the fridge for the season. Just in time too as the temps are getting pretty cold at night. Shortly after leaving, my parents' outside faucet froze and burst open. Since they live up there it was not a major catastrophe and was discovered right away when the pump started up with no call for water any where else in the house.

 

In my experience Butch didn't pull much of that.

 

That's why I said he was a pretty decent fellow.

 

I usually get paid for detention no prob. But forget the 150 for waiting more than 8 hrs on OD permits. Its happened twice to me, where I had to wait at least overnight, and I documented, and all, and never saw a dime for it.

 

I reset my trip at the beginning of each quarter so i can see what I've run for miles, and what my longer-term mpg looks like.

Side note, do you new(er) guys with PornStars know about the exterior light function check feature? With key turned to accessory, and all exterior lights off, hold the WORK light button for 5 seconds and release. Then you can walk around the truck to check all exterior lights, including trailer ABS, as they cycle through for several minutes. (Except reverse and strobe beacons.) Turn key off to stop.
