It's changed since you were here. They don't really leave the area. At least what drivers would consider the area.

That's retarded. when I was there I had to find my own ride to Gary for load securement and my own ride back.

I think I have an exhaust leak on my Prostar. Anyone else experience this. I can hardly breath, my nose is all stuffed up and I've had a headache all day.

Yeah, I agree. A dispatcher can't get a good idea what a driver deals with when they go from Gary to Marshfield, and back. So what, you get some Chicago traffic. That does not come close to the hours restrictions, with traffic, let alone the people behind the glass that don't care at all about your hours, etc...

It goes away. Actually depending on age, check the exhaust pipe that does a 90 degree downturn near the cab close to the middle of the engine. If it's a Maxxforce, there has been some issues with the heat burning out that corner.

Now that you guys mentioned it, I think I smell exhaust while my auto start is running right now. Ugh. I'm in my pj's. I'll wait until morning to check it. If I wake up. :biggrin_25523:

I know what you mean with ag equipment. I like the engineer part. My last two loads have been farm equipment and next is hay. Not complaining though.

4 miles north of Norfolk Ne. at Prime Stop North headed for Salem Sd. Never knew there were so many duplicate city names in the US till trucking. You say Norfolk I think Virginia, you say Salem I think Oregon. I am here in the middle. The windy and cool plains of Ne. and Sd. 40 degrees and 25 MPH wind.

It's a remote-control valve that they open once you give your two-week notice.:biggrin_2555:

Well, much to some people's dismay, I did wake up. Lol And there is no hole in the exhaust that I can find.

On another note, has anyone loaded at Independence Tube in Marseilles, IL? How close to the set appt time do they start loading? And how long do they take? Thanks.
