Possibly sounds familiar. I went to a place in York pa. I think it was a wire place. Really tight. Pain to get into. Weird design old brick loading. Typical northeast.

You got a specific question about NY wire?

Yeah that's it. I was glad I called ahead because the directions were unclear if the turn was just before the tracks or just after the tracks. Turns out it's on the tracks. Very tight. I managed to nail the dock with a 53' trailer pretty well, even with the dumpster perfectly positioned to interfere with optimal maneuvering.

Turns out that was the easy part. I got directions from another driver on how to get back to the interstate.

The left turn he suggested from the one way street wasn't going to happen, even with the tandems all the way forward. The next light was only marginally better, but very busy. Cars kept stopping way past the stop line. Finally, after waiting trough 2 reds I eased out and started around the corner. About halfway through the turn I waited for cars to move a bit and one lady honked her horn and looked at me like she thought I should back up or something. I had room yet so continued until she could get by. Then the cars in the other lane started to back up and/or move over and that was all I needed to finish the turn.

It wasn't terribly bad but I'm glad my wife wasn't with me. For some reason those tight quarters situations bother her.

Left out then another left at next light then a block and another left right back to 83. Got directions from fork driver. Worked well enough for me. No issues.

Hmm... Maybe traffic was just heavy. But the first left would have required starting from the right lane. I think I was too close to the curb. The next light had a parking lane so I was starting a little further from the curb. Next time I see you we can compare notes.

Sure. I went in at morning rush, so by the time I was loaded and going it lightened up. Just to be sure, took the left out of the lot. Can only go that way, being one way. Then very next left I do believe. I don't remember that street being that narrow, was recommended by fork driver.

You have ESPN on your truck tv? You have one of those satellite things?

Edit: Nevermind, they probably were allowed to broadcast locally on network TV.

Camped out in the UP Michigan on US-2. Went over the Mackinaw Bridge today. Very nice, except the $25 out of my pocket toll part. Deliver in Menominee in the AM.
