North side of Houston, to Galveston. Personal Conveyance miles. Personal Conveyance is a very cool and useful tool for drivers, but as stated previously, FAR too many people abuse it.

That's what I thought. I had that option on my last job and since I bobtailed home it was very useful. However, even if offered by Roehl it seems a bit of a stretch using it to conduct a dispatch. Plus 68 miles is also a bit on the long side.

Heading to fort dodge in the am. Love the place I am going. check in throw my lumbers and 8 straps and 16 edge prtoectors and my bungees on the deck. Unhook the trailer, they come and get it, load it secure it, tarp it, and throw bungees on for ya. Just have to finish putting bungees on after they are done. They even do a great job tarping.

Projektf350, Treefork and Meltom Thank this.

You should be good until about 15 degrees. Doesn't really get to be a problem until it gets really cold like 0's and below. Check next time you fill up to see if it says "treated" or "winter blend". Typically you'll only have a problem if your fueling in the south during winter and delivering in the north, or when you hit that spell of two or three weeks where the overnight lows are like-10 or worse.
