Roehl Driver Check In Continued

I was just south of you guys last night at a rest area. I wanted to get to Bloomington to my fuel stop, but didn't have the hours.

 

At home with the wife and kids. Going to be a rough one I think this upcoming year. I'm happy about it and incredibly worried now. Wife is Preg. Both congrats and OMG's are in order.

 

126 miles in 10 hrs...2 hrs waiting on live unload in Columbus then 3 on live load in Middletown then drove 35 mph in blizzard to Greensburg IN Petro. Getting new wiper blades. Had to be 50 vehicles in ditches from 75/275 to here. Even closed east bound due to all the crashes. Had 44 k on trailer so I never slipped a bit but tough to see anything when it got dark and wipers don't work. Several other Roehl next door and this place was full at 5pm

Just relayed my Atlanta load only to get a NYC load.

 

Relay board. Then going up stairs to make popcorn.

 

I am at a oasis on I90. Was shocked i got routed across 90 from 94 but not complaining. Delivering in minot ND on Monday around noonish. Pop into the house for tomorrow and Sunday. Than start really early monday morning to make my delivery.

The yongests first couple of basketball tournements for the year start this weekend. Will miss the Saturday games but the three games on Sunday ill be there for.

Got some good news from my fm today. Very shortly i am back to my old gig of staying crazy busy for the winter. Think ill take a week off over Christmas before i get back to the fun.

 

I've been told by other drivers that 53' trailers are illegal in NYC. Any truth to that?

If true that might keep you out of there.
