Koolatron is your best bet. I also exchanged a Road Pro POC at Loves. My Koolatron is a top loader and works very well.

The Edens is just part of I-94 that goes from the US-41 split to I-294. It takes a while to get used to it but all the traffic reports use the route names like, The Dan Ryan, The Kennedy, The Skyway, The Tri-State, The Edens, etc.

I would but I don't want my stuff frozen, LOL.

I learned that Love's has a really cruddy return policy. I liked my old Road Pro, but for some reason it wouldn't come back on. The real difference between the old one and the new, seems to be in the fan. The old one looks like a turbine like in a furnace. And it worked awesome. The new one looked cheaper built, and had a simple 5 bladed fan.

I found a Mobile Truck Stop nearby that has the Koolatron and a couple Schumacher types. They have a 215.00 Koolatron that looks more like a fridge, than a cooler. Also have the Schumacher, which seems to have decent reviews for 129.00. Might just try that, mostly cause they told me return policy is cash back in 30 days.

Seems to me, that they are in love with the Edens, Ryan, Bishop, and Tri-State. As many times they sent me this week through there, I feel way more experienced, lol. I feel if NY is a bonus though, why is not this route? I burnt 4 hours one day one way through there. Bad time to go through there. Oh well.

If it's just you in the truck the large fridge style is probably over kill. I like the top loader because it doesn't let all the cold air fall out every time you open it. The smaller top load Koolatron is around $100 and is on sale sometimes. I got mine for $87 at the 55 truck stop in Bollingbrook, IL.

Picked up the Schumacher 1215 at J&H Family Stores Truck Stop at 76th St, Grand Rapids MI. Price is about 129.00. Out of the box, I can tell it feels more solid than the Road Pro. It Heats and Cools. According to manual, it cools to 60F below ambient temp. It has a solid shelf and two small baskets that hang on the door. On a side note, it feels heavier than the Coleman I have. Also, I like how this 21Qt fits on this shelf in my ProStar. It fits better and more snug than the Road Pro I've been using. Got it strapped in and ready. I just hope it lives up to the online hype. Being heavier, I hope it means it works better. OH and the door, although cannot see through it, has a built in latch. Here's to hoping...but at least if it's junk, J&H stated, cash back within 30 days. If it does work, I have a 40Qt Coleman for sale. I have verified that it does do a good job. It's just too humongous to have in my truck.

I don't listen to the traffic reports. What good is it anyway. Not like you're going to change your route when you're already on there. And also go out of route.
    Also, sarcasm people. Jeesh.
