That's pretty much what it looked like.

 

Loves I 64 & hwy 41 Left Effingham after 3 hrs of waiting for trucks to move as the J & TA were out of fuel this morning. 100% ice covered on 70. So bad that trucks got stuck climbing an overpass west of town. Had to bring in sand to get over and it's 2% grade. Could have left quicker on ice skates. Headed to Ohio but I asked to be routed down here as roads are great. 50+ miles longer but they said ok.

 

Dug out from Grand Rapids yesterday. Truck is ready to roll, just checking the state information lines and making my call. Need to find out if the load is still assigned to me as well. Last time I said I'd be late, the load was picked up without my knowing.

 

Made it to Gary, from Louisville. Almost 7 hours to go 255 miles. That sucked.

 

taking 30..maybe ten in Remington in, slow drive north on six five..happy I wasn't here during the storm.

me too (tired), shut down at Remington, Indy north sucked..I'm gonna finish this when crazies are sleeping. saw some nice wrecks, flatbed buried in median north of Indy and that container at 178...lol that would have sucked.

 

Fm asked around 16:15 if I could deliver by 17:00 in Chicago. No, so I will go in for 0600 tomorrow. Hopefully something home after that.
