I was kind of like WTH? It's two minutes?

Then I got the, we expect our drivers to be on time and they rely on us... blah blah blah. For all I know later that day I spent 4 hours doing some ridiculous training or another while nobody was watching my fleet.

 

I used to work with a guy who did D at least once a week. I don't know who he thought he was fooling. I always knew what he was doing, but never said anything. The thing is, he never even would have gotten in trouble as he had leeway to adjust his schedule.

 

Not sure what's going on. Empty and waiting near Columbus, OH.

Had a preplan, then cancelled, then back on, then checked and confirmed "plan is on you and committed," then cancelled again.

 

In St Louis, D&H at Kraft. Thought I lucked out as the yarder is broke, so everyone else is sitting getting live loaded while this old, broken down and rode hard wet 61 trailer was loaded. Sweet, not going to complain about an old trailer when it's a D&H. Hold on, right brakes dragging and leaking air. Roehl says trailer shop 4 miles, back off the brake a couple turns and try it...only smoking a little....it's ok, it's ok. Made it, now sitting for a good part of the day as they'll "get to it eventually." Good news is it's above freezing!

 

Now it can melt and then freeze tonight!
