Off week. Low miles, bad loads, and a refused load.
NORSCI went bad for me, on account CS didn't bill the trailer I got loaded. They didn't think it a real trailer or something. Was one of the Brock Stoughton trailers, which had the Roehl logo rebranding done. So got told to park and call FM. FM calls CS. CS and FM call me. Another FM calls me--why you out of route 5 miles? 5 Miles? Cause after MT call, I had to go to sleep and closest place was ROETAW--5 miles away. Ok, no problem, just needed to know. FM and CS still chatting... still chatting... questioning, prodding. Ok, tell him wait 15 mins, I'll get it billed.
Got billed, ingated, and unhooked. Ran to Gary and snatched my relay in record time and ran to K-zoo for the unload. Clock winding down to 3 hours by departure from Gary. Go baby goGot to K-zoo, dropped at con, picked MT and drove out in record time. 50 mins left to day. Close to home. Departed con for the truck stop 1 mile from home. arrive in enough time to do a quick post and go off duty. I just made it
If not for the Billing issues, would have been done with 1-2 hours left over for my day. But hey, still made it home.

Was at NORSCI when they called. I found it odd and just said, oh--I went to ROETAW after getting MT last load. It was 5 miles away and I needed to shut down.
Think they're microscoping me for my rookie error earlier this week. First load, 177 MT, 19 Ld'd. Got it to Con and they wouldn't live unload, only drop. So I dropped and sent MT. BIG mistake. On route to next shipper no trlr, was supposed to be preld. Not so. Sent message about needing trlr and got ripped into for dropping the trlr and bobbing out. Told to go back and make them live or let them refuse. Went back, they refused to I took load to Gary.
I didn't call about the drop and refuse to live. So was my fault. Luckily was only 15 miles away at the time. Not a good way to start a week to be sure. -

Glad I stopped in here (Iowa. 80). My B.S. filter needed a little workout. I'll have to be careful not to stay too long or it might burst.
