Was supposed to pick up a relay in Bensalem to go to Atlanta. When I was a mile from the yard they cancelled it. Parked in the yard and called. Was told to go back to customer in Quakertown, PA were I just dropped a loaded trailer and picked up an empty.

I knew there was a major accident in the northbound lanes getting back here, because I just drove past it going south, so I told her I was making my own route so I can get back there before my clock runs out.

Well, I finally got back here and they tell me it's not ready. Now I'm parked on the street until my 10 hour break is over. Looks like I'll be getting up even earlier than yesterday.

Oh, and I'm going to Cranberry, PA (not to be confused with Cranberry, NJ) instead of Hotlanta.

I get to flip flop my finely tuned schedule and start late. I don't like that plan as well as starting early.

 

shut down at that little shell/7-11 in olathe with 15 mins on 70. $6 shower here as I had my own towel. I have credits at loves and pilot but no time to get to either.

put in for 1.5hr detention..I'm thinking they won't pay because I only had 30mins on 70 at shipper...no yes, no pay.

forced onto nights now with this load for sure..I don't mind but I know some don't like the night shift.
