Sunshine, are you in a 2012 Freightliner with an EPU? Check your heat controls by the bunk. Make sure the "Park" button is lit! Set your temp and fan speed. Heads up, your truck should be at operating temp to get it to work properly. If you're not in a Freightshaker, ignore this! LOL

 

Exactly, the shakers have optimized idle if New enough. The stars if newer than 12 have the auto start. The white loaners at mother ship be too old for it. ;}

Yea I have a 2013 Shaker with no auto start. I can run my heat all night no problem. I'm crashing out at the cons in Evansville, IN. Unload in the morn, then re-load in Evansville and off to NC.

 

Parked for the night at a shipper in Anoka, MN.

I'm in a shaker loaner with EPU, no auto start. still trying to figure it out! Haha I think the battery is low? But it won't idle. I'm trying a combination of everything everyone said LOL Something's gotta work right?!

 

one idle trick is to release your tractor brake. this will allow u to idle for an extended period.
