hope you took ALL your stuff with you to the loaner. (see my post from @ a week ago)

shaker with no auto is what ive got, tractor brake trick generally gives a good 1/2 hour before it shuts down.
don't run a cooler when parked or itll shed load early. heat & radio or an hour or two of tv should be no prob IF you ran a solid day on the road. heat will (or should anyways) be the last thing to shed so if the heat is kicking out early get the batteries tested, my beloved and missed 7945 had that happen. replaced one batt in the pack and even A?C would go for 10hrs!

uh oh, a man in the wrong business right there ;)

at the TA in Maybrook, NY, del 20 mi away in the AM then Edison, NJ to pick up what I believe is my HOME RUN!

Dropped an old trailer 15*** in Gary after inspection, didn't know we even had those. Four low tires 60 lbs ea., marker light with a short (tap it and it works or not), two 'small' holes in roof (covered with duct tape), and one bad brake cylinder. Then picked up the same loaded trailer with the bad landing gear I dropped last week in Chicago. I think it's the three sixes in the number causing the problem.
IL I-55 Loves @ Hwy 47. Next is St Louis to Ft Smith AR then Columbus OH (home).

Nope, not wrong business. Love my job, just wish some of the others involved with my job did theirs as well as I do mine.

Took the last two hours of my clock and got as close as possible to Chicago before shutting down for the night. Sittin at How Dea's at exit 107 WI 43 South. From here I can make my delivery on time in the am.

    DirkSteel Thanks this.

I did release my break last night and it idled for about 20 minutes and then shut off, but my heat ran all night so it was okay. I'm just always afraid of draining my batteries or something and then not be able to start my truck.
Im on 73 at some plaza by Plover, WI. Still had 6 hours on my clock but no one wanted to find me a load despite my nagging. Seems to be the trend since I started. 😡

Come over to Hirscvach and run the reefer on a lease. Its all good in da hood. We probably have nicer equipment and then I get to harp on you for speeding and violating your HOS. You know you want to do it.

Kardolmer, I left my local job to come here, because I'm crazy! Haha
loved being home every night but wanted to do more driving than I was doing. To be honest, the drive time since I started with Roehl has been about the same as at my local job. I'm not impressed. No matter how much I beg for longer loads.
