I carry a dozen bungees and a ratchet strap, but never use them! all of my GP loads are sealed when I pick them up! The GP shippers use those blow up bags and 2x4's to brace the loads. 99% of these GP loads are under 30k, which makes for a pretty good run!

Home for the week end, and up to Green Bay on Monday AM.

Got my butt kicked today. Ran hard and blog over 550. Lost out on making Gary, when con, then next shipper delayed in unloading and then reloading by 2 hours combined. Said I was too early for dock Times. Came got me hour later. Had to play yard dog at next shipper.

And that's why I always carried chains. Used them a handful of times to get unstuck in a lot or yard.

Sitting at a flying j in Carlisle, pa. Been here since 3pm yesterday and I'm not leaving until tomorrow morning. This was the only load they could get me out of Detroit area. At least I get to claim layover pay.

At home for a week. Was routed home and finished student in time for moms visitations and funeral. She was old and has had ahlzheimers for a number of years now. Getting some rest and family time. In a way a blessing as my sisters spent a lot of time taking care of mom all these years...now they can move on. Life...lol.

so in the end, after a sales pitch from some midlevel management.....I am staying on and switching to the northeast regional fleet.

should be very consistent with stop pay and other add ons....I expect around 50k/year should be doable

    :)

Sorry for your loss blue, ahlzheimers sucks :(

no, and as typed above, not leaving after all.....yet ;)

feel free to pm me info on it! :)

let me guess, it was the condescending eff who talks to ya like you are a functional idiot as you tell him what is up....ya dude, ive been doing mechanical stuff for 35 years, I already checked fuses, wiggled wires, spread pins on connectors...before I called.

dealt with him yesterday, as I told him, prob was in tractor, not trailer.....sigh....;)
