Roehl Driver Check In Continued

Just went by there a half hour ago on my way home. In my personal car. Don't start my training until 4/28. Only live about 20 minutes from there. Have a good night and be safe in Detroit.

So, you got signed up with the GP Fleet Scott?

Me, I am not a happy camper tonight. Hustled a load back to Green Bay from St. Paul this afternoon only to find out I dont have a load going out till tomorrow afternoon! I called night dispatch and of course they're clueless! So, no I sit for 24 hours - Ugh!!!

 

Those RR Donnelly loads aren't a big hurry either. How many full trailers at GP when you dropped yours?

 

Potts was loaded, I think I saw maybe 7 or 8 Roehl trailers plus my drop!

So I bobtailed from Potts over to the Citgo TS on Monroe RD & 172. Looking fora spot I see a Schneider Truck angled into a stall taking up two spots. So I go around to the front to back in next to him. I see two yahoos sitting in the cab, I back in about to the cab window and ask the passenger, :I see on the back of your trailer that Schneider is Hiring." The dude say's yeah they are, I'm a trainer! So, I say to him " You think they would hire someone that could park a truck?" He looks back at his trailer and then looks at the other dude with a blank look on his mug! I love jackin these guy's! What a bunch of yahoo's!

 

TA in Willington Ct. Two hours from the customer and it don't deliver until Friday morning. Layover Pay!!!

1-20 Longview TX, deliver in saginaw tx the load somewhere in tx going to Nashville. At Smokehouse BBQ truckstop that's also a shell and has a sonic. Not too much parking but I got here early. Pulled pork samich, mashed red skinned garlic potatoes, and banana pudding for dinner. Plus a mega selection of venison, elk, and bison jerky and more variety of other jerky available. Plus sausage links. Bathrooms are nice which is wierd to say but full granite everything. Nice treat for a change. I guess NASCAR is around here or along the way maybe texas this weekend. Saw tony Stewarts car hauler pulled by a Pete, she was purty minus not being a fan of his

 

Yeah Texas motor speedway this weekend. It's just north of Ft Worth off 35.
